Hi guys, i just started map editing a few days ago and I'm stilling getting the hang of things. I learn pretty quickly and i used to make complex maps for Starcraft back in the day.
Anyways I am working on a Digimon style defense map. Basically you got two heroes, a digimon and their trainer. Right now I'm trying to solve the whole 'metamorphosis problem'. Here is the basic idea:
I have tinkered around with the demon hunter's metamorphosis and made it permanent by setting the duration to 0. However it doesn't get a new skill set. How do i make it so that the new unit gets new skills? Do i need to use triggers or is there a simpler way to do it?

- Start with a basic hero (Stage 1)
- It has an ability to upgrade to a more advanced hero (Stage 2).
- It also has the ability to downgrade to a weaker hero (Stage 0).
- When the stage 2 unit runs out of mana they go back to stage 1.
- A stage 2 unit can advance to stage 3 if you have an item.
