Ya I think I am going to keep the %'s the same. Too much balance complications changing them.

I like this map, although if yours is the version with the heroes (dunno if people took this) dont use them its 2 easy just do the normal towers like u used to :)

Response to Suggestions

I hear a suggestion over and over about heroes making the game worse. Clearly many people don't like playing with them, some do. I would suggest a command -nohero for the host at the beginning to turn off hero mode.

However, I have had experiences where a hero has made the game exceedingly easy. The problem, in my opinion, comes from the fact that the towers and spawns get stronger exponentially. the hp / damage gets out of control too fast. Let this be a lesson to you all - increasing difficulty exponentially is a recipe for imbalance. In the future any td I make will have the difficulty go up linearly each level.

There was a suggestion to replace composite damage on a lot of the towers with elemental damage. I think that is a good idea, there are certainly a lot of towers where that can be done and make a lot of sense.
Star tower - Light Damage
Sun Tower - Fire
Some of them it is more tricky I think, but it should be done so that the damage types are pretty evenly spaced out. I like that idea, but I certainly think that SOME of them should continue to do composite damage, especially some 3-element towers where the damage type is not clear-cut.

I agree that a -nohero command is a good idea, I will look into it.

As for the Elemental damage, there is now at least one tower for each damage type for dual and triple element towers.

Slowing & Elemental Damage

The guy who suggested the whole concept of elemental damage had an idea of determining which damage type a hybrid would do. You take the dominant element
Poison = Water+Darkness, as darkness beats water, it should do Dark damage
Money = Light + Earth, as earth beats light, it should do Earth

For triple, I'm not sure how it would work...
Flamethrower = Fire + Earth + Darkness, none of them beats another, though it seems pretty clear to me that it does fire damage.
Laser = Light + Dark + Earth ... Earth beats light beats darkness... but it seems obvious to me that it should do LIGHT damage.

So I guess that method doesn't work.

Converting more of the hybrid towers to elemental damage types will discourage players from focusing on any one hybrid tower, which in principle is a good thing.... I think

As a side note, based on that dude's comment, Do you think that storm tower slows TOO much? Likewise, does Glacier slow TOO much? What about Roots tower? Is entangling roots unbalanced by its very nature of stopping the unit?

well I went mass roots and lightning towers last game and wrecked shop, it was sweet

well instead of making one dominant element, maybe you could also try to make a balance of that, like 66% dmg of the dominant element and 33 % of the other one (if such things are not already too complicated). if that wont happen, np, just add more element dmg type towers, as I proposed, instead of the many composite ones ~~

i'd found a serious 'bug' in ele td but im not gonna say it out coz to prevent ppl abusing it

anyway, i'd told it to karawasa. 'bug' fixed :)

Well here it is:

-Undid Laser Nerf
-Acid nerfed
-Interest removed from AR/SR
-Undid nerf to Crypt Towers
-Rebalancing of ALL gold costs
-ALOT more variety in Elemental Attack types
-Entangling Roots/Poison damage buffed
-Very small buff to Lava Towers
-Changed around some Tower Projectiles (Check out Star Towers/Laser Towers!)
-Armor values fixed up, Ronalds Armor now increases as it should
-Metal Tower damage bug fixed
-Drowing Tower reworked
-Infernal and Rainbow tower received small buffs
-Flamethrower tower nerfed
-Map size reduced

I can't view the site for some reason.

Seeking help in creation of a multiboard for Beta5. Most of the work has already been done, just need help making it look nicer and fixing up of a few bugs.

Hey, this is a good game, and I've an idea for the element damage.

Idea 1:

If the tower ex: water+fire, its deals random damage between water dmg/fire dmg

OR

Idea 2:
The main base tower. So if a steam tower built from fire, its deals fire dmg, if from water, it deals wtr dmg.

Seems difficult to made, Anyway, till this time, this game still one of the greatest TD I've ever played (Im lose in the 45th level at normal difficulty... :D Im not too good at TD). Err, but I wanna ask, why there are different element tower, but same effects?
Example:
Ice tower(slows)
Venom tower(slows)

Idea 1 is too hard to do, if not impossible.

Idea 2 I could do but would be a lot more work and definetly not worth it.

Yes its difficult, thats what makes it engaging ;).

They slow in different ways. One does dmg over time and is single, the other is small AoE but low dmg.
