{Solved}Explain the Chaos Ability

Can some one please link me to a thread showing me how EXACTLY to use chaos. Im completely lost with it.

Ive tried adding it to a unit via triggers, and it does nothing.

Also ive tried setting multiple levels and setting its level also with no avail.

Explain please

not sure, but adding Chaos to a unit, will morph it instantly to whatever unit is set in the ObjEditor

Sca1 (Chaos): Adding a chaos ability to a unit transforms it into the unit type specified in the target unit id field of the ability.

I cant have it start with the ability, else it morphs at start which is useless, adding it via the trigger did nothing. So no help here either.

what exactly are you trying to achieve?
1. try giving it metamorph (or something) and order it to cast it instantly?
2. Replace the unit via triggers?

Im trying to make a rank based system for my map.

If the unit kills X units, he will be promoted and will recieve bonus damage, armor etc
Some will involve model changes so i cant use Bonus for all of it.

Don't forget to remove the tech requirements from custom chaos abilities

I see what you did, but mine doesnt work in the same fashion. I NEED to know if it works but changing the level of the chaos ability.
