First Signatures

[Doomsday]

I know, it sucks. I was just fooling around with GIMP. This is my very first signature and I'm not really proud of it.

In my opinion, I think this is better than the first.

I like the background but it doesnt go with the render...
Also, there is too much excess space so 8/10

The excess space is for the Name.. anyone could use it.

They're a little too tall. Go for 150 pixels height max.

The second one looks fine. The render is a bit blocky though. Try using high res screenshot and cut it out. In my opinion, they look much nicer that way.

I dunno what you're talking about corvus. They fit nicely with the sig. If they were blurred on the inside it would look nicer though.

Your render in the second one is a bit choppy, blur the edges
And the second border is too big.

It's not choppy, just low definition. Those renders weren't meant to be used in sigs. The first one has nowhere to put the name nicely and the border looks like thread or something. The BG in the second one seems kindo of random to me. Looks like the moon's surface or something. Maybe make it a dark imag eof a mountain.
