Some warcraft icons I made in photoshop.
I posted them in the unofficial Icon Contest, but figured I could post them here to get some feedback/suggestions.

All types of feedback is good.

I especially like the Polar Wave and the Fire Blast.

I like Gamma Rift and Fire Blast I the most. Great job. Fire Blast I icon rocks period, you should make a DISBTN and stuff and submit it to some resource of wc3 stuff.

(As for Fire Blast II, I didn't like it as much...it just looks odd.)

Meh, I never converted a jpg to blp Could download the program, but if I'm gonna put them at wc3sear.ch I'll make a few more and submit them all at the same time.
Didn't like gamma rift so much actually, the colors just seemed wierd, might update it later.

Any suggestions on changes?

Also, What opacity is the DISBTN icons against black?

I dunno, the old one was pretty good, but dull.

The new one isn't so clear, its pretty dark, but if it were brighter, it'd prolly look awesome .

Most of them are good, force lightning inst tho... for its name at least.

Force lightning, looks great, but the name doesnt fit. . . Im using it on a wolf game as my icon for a broken leg =]

Static shield, should take the place of the static field icon on dota's zeus

the lightning vortex is nice concept, but a bit plain. Really like ur icons though

Well, its up for grabs, both of your work is nice so whoever wants it.

I have a skill, called lycanthropy fervor(subject to change,sounds kinda goofy), its got the animation of endurance aura, which I don't think it suits at all. Regardless, the tooltip reads:Being bitten by the werewolf has increased the lust for battle at a drastic rate. The Fervor makes the wolf not only run faster, but attack faster.

My other one is called eye of the wolf, it is the sentry ward model and the sentry ward icon.

The icon i would just have it look nice and fit the topic.

Ofcourse you can make requests, but I'm not able to use photoshop so often (It's not on my regular computer). But, if you make request there are lots of people who could make good icons in the forum.

You will also need an image extractor, my icons are all in .jpg formate.
