How can I get rid of the basic buttons for units?

How can I get rid of the Defend button, Patrol Button, and other stuff?

There's several tactics that I know of, but no surefire way to get rid of them. The first one would be to make the unit unable to move and attack, which is most likely impractical. The only other semi-decent way that I have found would be to have a spell book, and then use triggers to attempt to ensure that the spell book always remains open.

How do you order a unit to open a spell book?

I force open a spell book by using the action Game - Force UI Key and make the player press the hotkey for the spell book.

To hide the buttons, make the unit classification to Wards.
