How do I remove/disable keyboard short-cuts?

Hi,

I have a HP Spectre XT and the F1-F12 buttons they have short-cuts such as altering brightness, altering volume etc. This great, except when I'm playing WoW when it effectively disables half my spells. How can I disable these short-cuts without rebinding all those spells? I simply don't have enough keys.

Theres probably some kind of driver software, either pre-installed or it came with the keyboard, that would be the first thing I would try out.

When you say try out do you mean disable or uninstall that driver?

No I mean open up the control panel and look for settings.
A driver is something that you should usually never disable or uninstall. Without it bad things might happen.

I think I have figured it out. Someone suggested using the Fn key which I hadn't thought of. I saw a setting while I was looking last night, after I discovered the problem, that let a double tap of that key lock it on.
