Install problems

I am having trouble installing BF. It gets to about 60%-ish and it asks for "disk 2 which contains data3.cab" I put in disk 2 and it give the error about being "unable to find the spcified media" or whatever. The disk is not scratched and when I look at whats on the disk it is very obvious the data3.cab is there. It is a retail version of the game and I know it is not a faulty disk becuase I have used it to install in the past. It has done this on two different new computers, so I know is is not the computer. Please advise. Thank you

Ok then can you explain to me what makes a perfectly good disc go bad all of a sudden?

i have the same problem, i get to around 74% and the same error appears. I just bought my laptop from dell 4 months ago so i see it to be impossible to be the computer.

me too. I just un-installed it to reinstall it and now it does this. :banghead:

just copy both cds toa single fiile on the hardrive and install form there worked for me last night
