i've some questions about abilities and items :
first of all sorry for my bad engilish !!

1- is it possible to order a hero\unit intrigger to use an item ?
2- is it possible to make an ability gose on cooldown ?
3- is it possible to find out (in trigger) that a specific unit has a specific ability ?

1) Yes... Look in the "Hero" actions.
2) Only by having the unit use the ability.
3) Yes, use an integer comparison: Level of (Ability) Greater than 0.

He means that when you click on the item, an ability is activated. All you have to do is order the unit to use the ability that it is based off of.
Like if you have Staff of Windwalk - that lets you use windwalk - you would order your Hero to cast Item - windwalk
...or something like that...

question no.2 is not about an item at all !!

2) You can only have an ability go in cooldown by using it. There isn't any command that does "Make Ability go into cooldown".
