Item Charges

Does anyone know how to count the amount of charges for an item using triggers? And while we're on the topic, how do you set the charges for an item?

Errr are you saying this when you haven't tried using the Galaxy Editor yet? Coz from what i'm seeing, there's no "Item - Set Remaining Charges" or "Item - Item Charges Remaining" trigger functions in the Galaxy Editor.

Either way, i found out a round-about soluton to this but would still be interested to know if there is a quicker way.

Natively, there only seems to be support for abilities charges.
What is your work around, though?

Perhaps you could make the item give the unit an ability, and depend on that ability charges insetad?

Yes but how would the player SEE how many charges are left? >< I might as well make a custom inventory dialog instead.

I believe abilities display charges on hover, but sure, a custom dialog sounds a good idea.
