Maze Help! :(

im kinda new at world edit, and im working on a maze.. anyways, me and a friend were testing it, and we always flagged the patrollers...

how can i make them unselectable, but not using the locust ability, because when i tryed, the pattrollers just ran through me?!?!

please help

Give them immolation and locust. Locust is the only way to make them unselectable... I had this problem when I was making a maze. You have to do it the newb way and give them immolation >.<"

Why, do you have like 50 different enemies in your maze o_o

Most mazes only have a couple of types of enemies...

well i dont have alot prob. around 20 diferent ones so far.. but i put the trigger if a unit comes within the range of 80 od the dh the dh would die, why do i have to make immolation now?

I dunno... Warcraft makes no sense, all I know is permanant immolation damages and triggers don't when you have locust.

you dont really need immolation... just set the unit you want to have locust >.< you can keep the death on collision trigger

WEU has locust, but not sure about an "Unselectable Trigger" however it is far superior...

Btw

Use Phoenix Fire, its better than immolation

So rather that making the unit kill ur mazer the unit triggers it's own death.
it gets rid of the immo buff and i think it is better also looks better if u make him explode.

And with selectable stuff
Selectable
Events
Player - Player 1 (Red) Selects a unit
Conditions
(Unit-type of (Triggering unit)) Equal to Footman
Actions
Selection - Clear selection for Player 1 (Red)

mDon't use unlimited it's really bad for mazes it doesn't have if terrain condition.

Rofl, are you using that from your game? If so thats a pretty awesome unit name.

So anyways, you can maybe set the selection scale to like -50, though you would still be able to select them. Just there would be no circle. I've been looking for a way to make a unit un-clickable myself without using locust, because I make RoC maps... Gl with your maze, hope to see it out soon.

Wont work because it was a player event and not a unit event. (Your using triggering unit while there was no triggering unit)
