minimap glitch?

Hi,

I have a trigger in which the camera pans to a new unit when the new unit is selected. However, whenever this happens, the blackmask on the minimap as well as fog of war is removed for a brief instant; so for this instant the player can glimpse the entire map revealed on the minimap. is there a way to ensure that this does not happen?

heres the trigger if it helps, pretty simple:

Trigger:
  • player red outside vision
    • Events
      • Player - Player 1 (Red) Selects a unit
    • Conditions
      • (Outside Visibility <gen> contains (Triggering unit)) Equal to True
    • Actions
      • Camera - Set the camera bounds for Player 1 (Red) to Outside Visibility <gen>
      • Camera - Pan camera as necessary for Player 1 (Red) to (Position of (Triggering unit)) over 0.00 seconds

could you expound upon that idea? are you suggesting a cinematic would be put into place each time a unit is selected when in that region? what kind of cinematic would it be anyways? ive never really used the cinematics.

In the actions tab, put cinematic mode on for the player who is targeting the unit (make it instant) and timed for just about 1 or 2 seconds. Under cinematic, there should be the option to enable letterbox mode, and you should just enable letterbox for the duration of the cinematic. This is also under the GUI when you go to New Action (Cinematic).
