Not sure what to get

So its that time again! time to turn that crappy ol' computer of mine into a bitchin machine!

Unfortunetly im not sure what i should get..?

Im looking for processors and Video cards i think, i want mainly a gaming computer and thats really all you need, that and another gig of ram..

Currently my specs are

OS: Windows XP professional

Processor: Amd Athlon XP 3200+, MMX, 3DNow, ~2.2ghz
Memmory: 1024mb

Video Card:Raedon 9700 PRO
chip type: ATI Raedon Graphics processor AGP (0x4E44)
DAC type: Internal DAC(400mhz)
Approx total memory: 128mb

Any ideas on what to upgrade? im cheap, and out of cash, so i dont wanna pick things that are really expensive... Its the processor im more concerned about, because my dad has a good Nvidia card hes giving me. Ive looked at processors but just unsure whats what =/

What card? Because based on what your card it, it'll need to be an AGP card, which is not as popular as PCI these days.

Im pretty sure its a PCI-E although i could be wrong. SO i know ill prolly need a whole new motherboard >.<
