Peanut Butter Butterfinger Brownies
Simply irresistible Peanut Butter Butterfinger Brownies.
Ingredients:
- 1 box brownie mix (plus ingredients listed on the box)
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup crushed Butterfinger candy bars (about 4 regular-sized bars)
- Baking dish
- Bowl for mixing
- Preheat your oven according to the brownie mix package instructions and prepare a baking dish as indicated
- In a mixing bowl, prepare the brownie batter following the instructions on the box
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish
- In another mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter, powdered sugar, and melted butter until it's smooth and well mixed
- Gently spread the peanut butter mixture over the first layer of brownie batter in the baking dish
- Sprinkle half of the crushed Butterfinger bars evenly over the peanut butter layer
- Pour the remaining brownie batter over the top and spread it evenly
- Sprinkle the remaining crushed Butterfinger bars on top
- Bake in the preheated oven following the brownie mix instructions, usually for about 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean
- Let the brownies cool completely before cutting into squares
