Positive/green buff should be negative/red

Is there any way at all to specify whether a buff is going to be considered positive or negative? I have a spell based on Inner Fire, it reduces armour using a negative number for the armour amount granted, but obviously I'd rather have a negative/red buff.
I'd base it off Faerie Fire but I don't want the visibility component.

I guess I'll try adding a colour code to the tooltip for now.

Edit: Solved.

You should just be able to base the (de)buff off of a positive or negative one.
Like, use Inner Fire buff as your base for buffs, and something like the Faerie Fire debuff for debuffs.

Glad you solved it though.

I thought the game detected whether it's positive or negative by the spell it's based on, not the buff. The way I solved it was just basing it off Acid Bomb instead.

I think it's the buff, might as well try.
Although generally yes, there's always a spell that's a negative version.

Pretty sure it's based off the buff though :p
