Used to be there, now you have to test in Multiplayer untill teaser 2 :eek:

I'll release teaser 2 soon btw, containing the very first creep of WoW.
Before releasing it, I'm required to write and finetune the xp system basics and upgrade the player unit data from a struct to a unit interface, allowing easy creep implementation.

In English: test in multiplayer or wait a few days untill the creeps arrive :)

Added teaser 2 to the first post.

- Fixed all bugs that occured in teaser 1
- Optimized some code (I suppose...)
- Added creep functionality

- Fixed a bug where a reflected spell would take the target's resistances in account instead of the new target's (being the original caster) resistances.
- Fixed a bug where a player would reflect a spell at random
- Fixed a bug where a unit's death wasn't accounted for internally

EDIT: Version 2b
- Fixed a bug with PUI calling GetUnitIndex() on a null unit

Version 2c:
- Rectified personal PUI abuse
- Rewrote the way casting bars work: you should no longer have errors nor struct leaks when casting a spell while another one is still casting.
- Furthermore, a reality measure has been added, meaning "overwriting" a cast may take up to 0.20 seconds, depending on the distance and facing angle difference between you and your target.

So no more casting fireballs out of your ass!

Version 2d:
- Added a healing system
- Units now keep facing a moving target while casting a spell on it *reported as bugged*
- Added a new unit: Chaos Doctor
- Added one spell to it: Swift Heal
- Added new testing item: Staff of the Healer

- Casting won't stop anymore when interrupted, unless the spell has the ability to stop one's spell when interrupting. (Think "kick" from WoW rogue)

First map under development:

PNs: The Arena (name pending)
  • "Capture the flag"-style play
  • 6v6
  • Allows you to save and load your units
  • Walls are walkable to improve strategic options

May I say that I absolutly hate your Terrain?
Throw in some more detail, and make it more natural looking.
Also, because there are only 3 ways, and most of them only 1-way (Up to down and vice versa), would make it hard for players to switch lanes fast enough to kill the guy that has the Flag...
It's like a criminal driving on a one lane road, and the only thing you can do is drive behind him and try to catch up...

Well, I'm not a terrainer :)

About the more roads: I'll look into that, but the gameplay gets precedence over terrain for now.

If an experienced terrainer comes along and is able to change the looks -without- losing the walkable walls etc. it's fine by me

Well, you don't have to be a terrainer to split up those dense group of Trees, so that you could walk inbetween them.
Also, do you know how Forest/Woods looks like?
Try to replicate that what you see, it's not hard you see.
I hate it if someone says that they can't terrain because they are not a terrainer.
It's non-sence and you just want to excuse yourself :p

Well, anyone can just take away trees; but not everyone can take away trees and make it look good at the same time. :p

There is no visual difference, if you have 75 trees on one spot instead of 85, you know what I mean?
Anyways, please take time with the Terrain :)
I love Maps that look sexy and appealing ^^

Huge update:

- Finetuned the system some more
- Added some more spells to Herbalist and Chaos Doctor
- Added accounts
- Added first terrain
- Added all mitigation icons


When testing you can select "CHAOS NUKER", "CHAOS HEALER" and "GAIA HEALER"!

Type "-save" in-game to get a save code, currently saving:
- your gold
- your lumber
- your units and their levels.

EDIT: saving disabled by accident :eek:
