Renaming Lists

I have a large set of files that need to be renamed...

anyone know a program that i can use to rename files in large groups?

I tried searching google, didn't find anything other than renamewiz, but i can't use that for some reason.

I'd do a virus scan on that file though--- something about sites with three lines of information and a link to an exe makes me suspicious...

ACDSee is also a great program for renaming. Its main use is for viewing images of all types of formats.
