Trigger:
  • Sound Effect
    • Events
      • Unit - A unit enters Region 001 <gen>
    • Conditions
    • Actions
      • Sound - Play HeroTinkerPissed6 <gen>
      • Trigger - Turn off (This trigger)


My map seemed a bit boring with some sound effects, so I added them in. But for some reason when I played the game, it does not seem to work, anyone knows what's going on?

You can change this now in User CP.

I think you have to specify where the sound is to be played.

Trigger:
  • Untitled Trigger 001
    • Events
    • Conditions
    • Actions
      • Sound - Play BattleNetTick <gen> at 100.00% volume, attached to (Entering unit)


3D sounds have to be declared as variables before being attatched to points or units, in this case I used the familiar ticking noise (no pun intended on humourus YouTube video of same name) heard as you start LAN or Bnet games.

EDIT: I've had a sound trigger working at one point, where Muradin mocks a Paladin for trying to bash down a door saying "You're pretty slow for a human, aren't ya?"
The sound wasn't attatched to a unit or point if I recall, but I cannot remember how I called it.
