Do you mean whether it's been activated or not?
If that's what you need, then you could use

Code:
(<<your unit>> has buff <<your buff>>) Equal to True
Boolean

Or set a boolean variable to 'true' after the event
Code:
Unit - A unit Starts the effect of an ability

No i mean exactly what i wrote, there is a trigger...

Code:
Untitled Trigger 001
    Events
    Conditions
    Actions
Player - Disable Animate Dead for Player 1 (Red)
        -------- or --------
Player - Enable Animate Dead for Player 1 (Red)

Is there any way to check if an ability has been enabled this way?

If the level of an ability for a certain specified unit is 0, then it means, the unit does not have the ability.

-If
(Level of (ability) for (unit) Equal to 0
-Then
-Else

Under integer comparison.

I'll test that right away!

Edit

It didn't work. You see the hero got a couple of spells in a spellbook, which i have all disabled in map init. Later on in the game when the hero completes a quest/buys a skill they enable it. Later when they saves, i'll need to get them a code which enables the spell they have been taught, Can this be done with an condition or do i need to track it all the way from when they learn the spell?
