In Wc3, when you give a unit two or more custom abilities all based on the same original ability, it messes up to say the least. Same with buffs being cast on the same unit. I hope this is more flexible in Sc2.

yeah, but that isn't hard to fix, just change the order ID.

welll there will be a lot of data not implemented in the WE. FOr example, the lost units/models from the original warcraft III, heroes, items, a third resourse.

There definitely is a lot of possibilities for modifying the colors.

It would be nice if the color of units could be increased so as to see them turn white. The thing is, that with 0-255 for R,G and B, a footman can be black, red, etc, but his "brightest" state is the normal coloring, achieved at 255 for all three. If they could go beyond 255, the unit could be made white, bright blue, bright green, etc.

This only works with a few spells: Channel, Spellbook, and a few others. The problem still exists.

I wouldn't count on it.

They've already announced the possibility of heroes for SC2.

There are going to be "hero" like units in SC2 Editor, I don't know about the campaign.

I would like if they do a unit comes near (VARIABLE) unit in GUI cause it's really restarted there is no VARIABLE slot only PICK YOU MOTHER FUCKING UNIT! That is really bugging me when i do spell like : Now i'm gonna do this kick ass eye candy spell that would blow everybody mind and then i remember ohhh no i cant cause WC3's range GUI system is fuck up in the head !

Now footmen delightfully explode when they so much as brush past a knight.


Of course, this is far from perfect: There's no way to get the unit that was approached, and if used with any regularity, it'll lag the game like nothing else.

Not exactly possible.

If you did it via event on a custom global, it would register a null unit. Even if you set the variable to something later, it's still a null unit that was registered.

I want these file formats supported.


JPG, PNG, BMP, BLP, TGA, ICO and GIF.

MP3, MP2, WMA, OGG, WAV and MIDI.

MP4, WMV, AVI, 3GP, MPG, FLV and MOV.

TXT, DOC,


Really, that's an answered prayer if they do.

Think about it. How innovating is having JPG, a usable image format?

Using WMA or OGG as a usable sound format? That's 1/3 or 1/4 of MP3's size to quality ratio.

TXT... Yeah... TXT... You know A LOT of things to do with TXT...
