String to ability rawcode conversion?

I'm having a hard time figuring this one out. I'm trying to make a spell removal system by using "-remove " substring :x but i cant figure out how to make it detect what spell it is from the rest of the string. Anyone have any ideas? D:

if you know vJass you can use text macros which is the easy way out. I can develop an easy to use system if you have NewGen

Otherwise, you need to use substrings. Triggers only look at the rawcodes of things rather than their proper names. Unfortunately you'll need a bunch of If/then/elses to get it to work right. just have it detect if the substring is equal to whatever..

And if your really bored, i am using newgen, and a system like this would be super appreciated, but you dont have to if you dont want to. Ill figure it out if you dont :thup:

That's what my original intentions were. However, i cant find anything that allows me to detect rawcodes of abilites off of a string event :/
