Trying to figure out a trigger.

Hello guys, i was wondering if there was a way to set a condition for a player being in a team


like...



Team1HeroBuy
Events
Unit - IntellectTav 0007 <gen> Sells a unit
Unit - AgilityTav 0006 <gen> Sells a unit
Unit - StrengthTav 0008 <gen> Sells a unit
Conditions
If(player is in team one)
Actions
Unit - Move (Sold unit) instantly to (Random point in Region 001 <gen>)
Unit - Kill (Buying unit)
Player - Set (Triggering player) Current gold to 0
Player - Set (Triggering player) Current lumber to 0



What i wanted was in conditions, i can't quite figure it out, but making 12 different triggers for 12 players is annoying.

Create a player group and add players of that team to it. Then make the condition to check if player is in said player group.

Thanks for the reply, it's my second day using the editor. So i'm not exactly sure how to create a custom player group, would you mind explaining?

I already designed my map, Taverns, items, etc. But i'm having troubles with this

It's a variable (a gold X). Click the X and create new variable. The variable type is Player Group, name it however you want.

How would i easily put players 1-6 in playergroupone, and 7-12 in playergrouptwo

Without 12 different triggers

you can go into scenario -> Forces
check use custom forces
then check below that (forget what the next line is)
and you can set each player to a specific force, so the forces will be locked in like that

then you can use:
Trigger:
  • Conditions
    • Player is in Force 1

etc

not sure if thats quite what you were looking for
