Twisted Headphone cord

Does anyone know how to untwist a headphone cord.

I have no clue how it got that way, when i got it out of the box it was curled up... in large circles. But now it just twists up, and makes for about 2 ft of cord, and is really annoying. To untwist it i have to pull on it, which gets annoying...! Any ideas on how to untwist it and keep it untwisted?

i got a better solution get a better headset

cept with mine i keep rolling over the cords with my chair ...
o well bought a few gamevoice commanders just incase
