Using Abilities that are on Other Units

IM unsure how to explain this, so here.
Quick easy example:
The towns person has a quest for me, TO acquire the quest, i want to have to select the towns person, and he will have an ability that i can use, even though he isnt my unit.
I cant make him move or anything, the only ability i see is "Quest" or "speak" Or whatever.

Any Ideas? I don't have the faintest idea, Maybe the unit is rescuable? im not sure what that even does XD

rescuable means that they can be carried inside a unit like the goblin zepplin can carry footmen in the air

to do this I guess you can have a shop with the model of a unit, then give it the unit selection ability, and an item that costs nothing

when the unit buys the item, you can instantly remove it and start the quest

maybe that will work?

I suppose this would work... good idea =D

However, I do want my unit to be able to wander freely (wander ability). SO this would remove that feature... But i definitely will keep it in mind. If there is no way i will do this =)

i am pretty sure you can make shops move?
uncheck is building
give it MS and other stuff

Where you got that from?
It means the unit will change owner to whatever other player gets near.
Mostly used in campaign maps where you find some helper units.

And, yes, a shop doesn't have to be a building.

> you can instantly remove it

Or use a powerup item.
