Warcraft 3 World Editor basics help please!

Hey, just wondering how to set starting locations for each team, and also how come when i test the map, my heros can only reach level 5 when i set the maximum hero level to 15?

1. When you open up the Unit Palette there's a building called Start Location. Just place one after changing the owning player on top.

2. Have you enabled Custom Gameplay Constants? Also change your Hero XP Gained - Creep Reduction Table values to 100.
