Wc3 map is read-only????

Sup guys i got a question... i just dled a map from mapggnome and it appears it is a "Read-Only" map... idk what that means.. the map size is pretty small and when i open it with editor there is no triggers.. Anyone know anything about this or how to make a map read-only??

Btw- map works fine and what intrigues me is the map size... SOOO SMALL!!!

It's called map protection, meaning the creator didn't want others opening his map.

Ah, so this is what they meant then they where talking about deprotecting maps.

umm how is it protected when u can edit things....well just not the triggers

thats the thing the map owner proberly didn't what you to change things to it
thats why it is protected ...
just like icefrog made dota protected so no one can edit things in it...
