Mike Morhaime (Blizzard's actual president), during the opening ceremony of Blizzcon 2009, announced that Starcraft 2 and the new Battle-net platform would be released in 2010. He later clarified his statement by saying Battle Report 5 would be released in 2010; not the game itself.

I don't believe anything wikipedia says unless it has a reference/source, and since the source that says that is youtube, and youtube is apparently down right now, even though im listening to music as i type this on it. I don't believe that until i see video proof, or an interview that says that and is posted on blizzard.com
Edit: Got to watch the video it says was a source and it says NOTHING about starcraft 2 or battle report 5. it says starcraft and the new platform battle.net will be shipping next year and thats it.
