MY BRO DID SOMTHING TO MY MAP I DONNO WAT BUT
I WORKED 4 DAYS ON IT!!!!

oh dear, it appears your brother has gone and map protected your map. That probably means all the triggers have been deleted from it.

Resurrecting it is going to be long and tedious. Before I start, let me say to everyone:

EVERYBODY MAKE BACKUPS OF YOUR MAP BECAUSE ONE DAY SOMETHING LIKE THIS WILL HAPPEN AND YOU WILL HAVE WASTED A LOT OF TIME FOR NOTHING

Wow that really sux. I would hate my bro for so long. That is why I have my own profile on my comp, with a password. I made a backup of my map, yay.

ya i have my own account too.

but if you go to my computer then click on your bros documents

on the address bar at top change documents to desktop and then your in his desktop and u can go through his stuff and bring it too your descktop and other stuff

i wish i never showed him

my map is fixable though right?

i downloaded winmpq but it says i need:

• Visual Basic 4 runtime libraries
• Microsoft Windows Common Controls
• Mpq Control and its required files

i cant fined em i got winmpq from:

If you read the "Read Me" file at the bottom of the page you downloaded from it will tell you that you have to download those files seperately. They say they are on the site somewhere but I could not find them. I would look on that site for them. Read the Read me file on that page.

yeah i cant find them either, and I don't think they're there either. The official site linked to from the FAQ is unfortunately down for the time being, otherwise you would have been able to get them from there. I'll see if I can fish the files off my WinMPQ install and give them to you (no promises).

goodbut bad

i got winMPQ but i couldnt open ne tft map

the i found MPQeditor at wc3 download area place

in i loaded map and small box came up with nuthin in it
with the oiptions bellow:

OK / AUTO DETECT /and/ CANCEL


good or bad ?

just tell me how to use it in my map
