i need some one to explain what a switch is because im sure that not knowing what switches do and when to use them has prevented me from making maps

switches are very easy. you can turn them on, and you can turn them off. you can rename them so you know what each one is.

basically it lets you do a lot of things at once.

they are very useful for settings levels in defense maps, they are used for special events or other advanced stuff. ddepending o your map, you will probably need switches.

So they're boolean variables? Good to know if I ever get back into Starcraft (probably won't).
