[The Maze Map Index]

I thought it would be a good idea to put up a thread which contained many links to lots of different maze-type maps.

The reason being is because mazes can really release the feeling of boredom quickly, and don't take that long to finish.

So, that's why I decided to create a maze map Index, for all to enjoy.

I will try to find and add links to as many different maze maps as I can. I would appreciate it if anyone else could give me links as well . I will update any old versions in the Index if a new version for that map comes out. Just remember to PM me about a new version so I can add it sooner.

More map information:

*[COLOR="Blue"](5) [/COLOR]means the map was Very good

*(3) means the map was average
*(2) means the map was poor
*(1) means the map was very poor

And, let's assume I never played any maze map.
So, I come here, see this list and ... and what?
Try the next best link and hope the map won't disgust me?

If nothing else, put up a separate "my favorite three" list, with a bit of details on gameplay...
Or some score, like 1 (avoid) to 5 (must see).

No. But, from reading your idea about scoring the maps, I will put a little number in brackets next to the map ranging from 1 to 5, with 5 being high.

I will try to score/rate all the maps as soon as I've finished testing the ones that I havn't yet played.

Im aware that different people have different opinions too. Remember that those ratings are personal.

Im not a harsh or exaggerating rater, believe me.

And if you don't believe me, just test a map and see. You'll find my rating is suitable.

But yes. Other people should rate them, but it would be annoying calculating averages and so on.. So its best the way it is.

Odd thing to make a index about. Anyways I guess it's good to get a 4 for a map I made in a couple of hours (christmas maze)

The ratings are personal. I only rated the maps to give people an idea of how good the map is.

Of course your going to think that was better than that, and the same would go for other people too.

Supposed to be Public, so they should give their opinions.

I'll probably let people post a rating in the future. But, for now, I'm still working on adding maps to the Index and rating those ones.

What will happen if someone dislike it?

They won't play it again I guess.

I don't mind how bad or good the map is. Just as long as you spent at least a few hours making it .

Good to hear you liked it. I would say you should rate the maps on both how fun they are to play and how well made and original they are. Like Polar Escape 1+2 were just random bad made rip offs of Maze of Frostbite with no shred of originality, yet LimiteR made them okay fun for awhile.

Personally I don't like Polar Escape.
They are well-made and all. But I hate random stuff in Escape maps. Random requires no skill, just luck. And I think that the ice is rather random
Also, the trolls looks like Canadian Hockey Players ..They scare me.
Otherwise, Escape maps are pretty much the same

I never knew about LimiteR ripping of that maze. Interesting lol.

I'm definately going to improve the Index later on. But, for now I'm just going to leave as is; I've got a lot of testing to do..
