I'm currently working on an AoS and I need some original heroes ideas.
When posting heroes ideas, please don't copy spells from Dota and make sure heroes have synergy between them ;)
Also, each hero have 4 spells with 5 levels and another one with only 4 (Ultimate at level 6)
You will get +rep and credits for hero, of course.

Frog I More

Proper name: Jelly Roll Morton
A giant frog, master of swing and music!
Primary attribute Intelligence, also high Strength, but low Agility.

SKILLS

Combat jump - Cooldown 12 seconds, mana cost 60/65/70/75/80. Jumps to a target location, dealing damage and stunning any enemies in a 150 AoE.
Level 1 - 60 damage, 2 seconds stun, 400 jump range
Level 2 - 85 damage, 3 seconds stun, 500 jump range
Level 3 - 110 damage, 4 seconds stun, 600 jump range
Level 4 - 140 damage, 5 seconds stun, 600 jump range
Level 5 - 170 damage, 6 seconds stun, 600 jump range

Frog choir - Cooldown 9 seconds, mana cost 65. Summons a group of 6 immobile small frogs, very close to eachother (in two ranks of 3), and they all cast Taunt when summoned. In addition, the frogs have an 800 range aura increasing the movement speed of nearby allies. Frogs have 100 hp and dissappears after 5 seconds.
Level 1 - 300 Taunt range, +10% movement speed
Level 2 - 450 Taunt range, +20% movement speed
Level 3 - 600 Taunt range, +30% movement speed
Level 4 - 600 Taunt range, +45% movement speed
Level 5 - 600 Taunt range, +60% movement speed

Hideous Croon - Cooldown 11 seconds, mana cost 100. Any nearby enemy get decreased armor and a 25% chance to miss all attacks for 5 seconds, when Jelly walks by with this spell activated.
Level 1 - Lasts 3 seconds, 160 AoE, -3 armor
Level 2 - Lasts 5 seconds, 170 AoE, -3.5 armor
Level 3 - Lasts 7 seconds, 180 AoE, -4 armor
Level 4 - Lasts 9 seconds, 190 AoE, -4.5 armor
Level 5 - Lasts 11 seconds, 200 AoE, -5 armor

Divine Scat - Cooldown 10 seconds, mana cost 120. Channeling, lasts up to 8 seconds. Regenerates hp for nearby allies, but at the cost of hp every seconds for Jelly!
Level 1 - 18 hp/second healed, 300 AoE, 5 DPS to Jelly
Level 2 - 21 hp/second healed, 325 AoE, 4 DPS to Jelly
Level 3 - 24 hp/second healed, 350 AoE, 3 DPS to Jelly
Level 4 - 27 hp/second healed, 375 AoE, 2 DPS to Jelly
Level 5 - 30 hp/second healed, 400 AoE, 1 DPS to Jelly

lesser ulti:

Level 1 - 20% of hp
Level 2 - 60% of hp

Time ball - target point
throws a ball in target diretion, the ball moves 300 units per second and send all enemies it hits to another dimention, When the ball reaches targeted point enemies takes tamage, 1 second of stun and returns to the normal dimention.
level 1: 400 range, 50 damage.
level 2: 450 range, 70 damage.
level 3: 500 range, 90 damage.
level 4: 550 range, 110 damage.
level 5: 600 range, 130 damage.

Time void - target point
creates 2 voids, one at time magés position and another at targeted point. Units nearby to void 1 are send to void 2 and vice-versa, enemies takes damage.
level 1: 400 range, 30 damage.
level 2: 500 range, 40 damage.
level 3: 600 range, 50 damage.
level 4: 700 range, 60 damage.
level 5: 800 range, 70 damage.

Clockstop - passive
every second the time mage has a small change to stun all nearby enemies during 2 seconds.
level 1: 5% chance, 400 AOE.
level 2: 7% chance, 450 AOE.
level 3: 9% chance, 500 AOE.
level 4: 11% chance, 550 AOE.
level 5: 13% chance, 600 AOE.

save the present - target unit.
saves target unit HP/MP and position. after some seconds the unit returns to that state if not dead. Time mage can force it to happen before estimated time.
level 1: 2.5 seconds.
level 2: 3.0 seconds.
level 3: 3.5 seconds.
level 4: 4.0 seconds.
level 5: 4.5 seconds.

Space time split - target enemy
Links the enemy to its current position. Every second the target takes damage based on how close he is from that point. Lasts 10 seconds. If distance becomes greater than 1200 the link breakes.
level 1: ((1200 - distance) / 50) + 5 damage per second.
level 2: ((1200 - distance) / 45) + 10 damage per second.
level 3: ((1200 - distance) / 40) + 15 damage per second.
level 4: ((1200 - distance) / 35) + 20 damage per second.

Time travel - active with no target
casts "save the present" in all units of the map (this is madness:eek:).
Level 1: huge cooldown. 150.
Level 2: big cooldown. 130.
Level 3: long cooldown. 110.

thehelper.net shut down, so my last edits to my hero idea was never activated.. it had some explanation to the last skill (I removed the fact that Frog Choir and Jump is cast, added mana cost, cooldown and range, etc) and some tips for model and a note that you might want to change him to a ranged hero with projectiles as the Frog model doesn't have any attack animation.

However, Im sure you'll figure out solutions yourself, hero ideas are after all ideas and nothing more :)

Explanation :
  • This create an area of ice. When Gorob is in that area, he will get a bonus to attack speed
  • This also freeze every unit in that area for X seconds.

causes all enemies in target area to spin to the other side of the circle (enemies in the north are moved to the south, enemies in the west are moved to the east, the distance from the center is maintained), and slows movement speed by 50% during some seconds.
level 1: 30 damage, slows during 2 seconds. 300AOE.
level 2: 50 damage, slows during 2.2 seconds. 325AOE.
level 3: 70 damage, slows during 2.4 seconds. 350AOE.
level 4: 90 damage, slows during 2.6 seconds. 375AOE.
level 5: 110 damage, slows during 2.8 seconds. 400AOE.

aura of madness - passive
every second the master of lol has a small chance to drive one random nearby enemy to madness. Mad enemies can't attack or cast spells, they will just run to random positions with 25% increased movement speed during 3 seconds. When an enemy becomes mad it gains resistance to aura of madness during 7 seconds (enemies with resistance can't be affected)
level 1: 15% chance per second to drive one nearby enemy to madness.
level 2: 20% chance per second to drive one nearby enemy to madness.
level 3: 25% chance per second to drive one nearby enemy to madness.
level 4: 30% chance per second to drive one nearby enemy to madness.
level 5: 35% chance per second to drive one nearby enemy to madness.

In the name of lol - active with no target.
the master of lol leaves and illusion of himself and becomes invisible, the illusion lasts 4 seconds and when it dies or expires it explodes dealing damage to nearby enemies and laughting.
level 1: 50 damage. Invisible lasts 2 seconds.
level 2: 75 damage. Invisible lasts 2.25 seconds.
level 3: 100 damage. Invisible lasts 2.5 seconds.
level 4: 125 damage. Invisible lasts 2.75 seconds.
level 5: 150 damage. Invisible lasts 3 seconds.

awesome toss - target enemy, then, target another one.
the master of lol grabs an enemy at melee range and fly with him disabling that enemy (the master of lol can only grab during 2 seconds, if he waits for too long the enemy free itself). after grabbing an enemy the master of lol have to target another one, the enemy is then tosses against the other and both takes damage and are knocked back.
level 1: 100 damage. 300 knockback range
level 2: 140 damage. 350 knockback range
level 3: 180 damage. 400 knockback range
level 4: 220 damage. 450 knockback range

double lol - passive.
the mage of lol gains a clone of himself. the clone can use all spells the mage of lol have, but those spells have only half of the power.
when the close dies the mage of lol is stunned during 3 seconds and the clone is summoned again in front of him after 30 seconds.
level 1: clone takes 400% damage.
level 2: clone takes 350% damage.
level 3: clone takes 300% damage.

Model: Blood Elf Priest

Backstory: Abrog was once a high priest of the Quel'Thalas army known nationally as a savior going by the name Erethon Sunstrider but all that came crashing down, when Arthas invaded his home nation. Arthas new of Erethons powers and thought to use him to bolster his forces as he treked through Quel'thalas, Erethon how ever wanted no part of it and tried to make a hastey escape, but to no avail. Arthas consumed by hatred placed an ever lasting curse on Erethon making his powers of the light useless and hereby doubing him Abrog.(If using a good vs evil theme continue, if not ends here)
Abrog now fights for the good hoping to gain his revenge on Arthas by any means possible.

Main Attribute: Intelligence ( 19 + 1.7 per level)
Agility (10 + 1.2 per level)
Strength (15 + .9 per level)

Soul Drain(DoT/HoT) - Abrog drains the soul of his enemy, siphoning % health and % mana every second for 4 seconds.
Level 1: .25% for 4 seconds.
Level 2: .35% for 4 seconds.
Level 3: .45% for 4 seconds.
Level 4: .55% for 4 seconds.
Level 5: .75% for 4 seconds.

Everlasting Curse(Passive) - Abrog is still haunted by the curse bestowed upon him giving him great mental stability, increasing nearby units mana regen and health regen.
Level 1: Insignificant Regen.
Level 2: Small Regen.
Level 3: Moderate Regen.
Level 4: Heavy Regen.
Level 5: Sublime Regen.

Breaking Affliction(Instant/DoT)- Abrog bestows a minor affliction on the target dealing XDoT and also decreasing their immune system making them more susceptible to your other abilities.
Level 1: 150 DoT lasting 10 seconds. 1% weaken.
Level 2: 350 DoT lasting 15 seconds. 2% weaken.
Level 3: 500 DoT lasting 20 seconds. 3% weaken.
Level 4: 600 DoT lasting 25 seconds. 4% weaken.
Level 5: 700 DoT lasting 30 seconds. 5% weaken.

Level 3: 400 Damage.
Level 4: 500 Damage.
Level 5: 600 Damage.

Haunting Affliction(Instant) - Abrog consumes the curses he laid on his opponent dealing all the DoT left in the curse/affliction plus an additional x per curse/affliction.
Level 1: 200 Per Curse/Affliction.
Level 2: 400 Per Curse/Affliction.
Level 3: 600 Per Curse/Affliction.

If the slime receives fatal damage (damage greater than his hitpoints) he explodes poisoning all nearby enemies and 2 seconds after he ressurects with 20% hitpoints in the same place he died. Poisoned enemies takes damage per second and are slowed.

Backstory: Abrog was once a high priest of the Quel'Thalas army known nationally as a savior going by the name Erethon Sunstrider but all that came crashing down, when Arthas invaded his home nation. Arthas new of Erethons powers and thought to use him to bolster his forces as he treked through Quel'thalas, Erethon how ever wanted no part of it and tried to make a hastey escape, but to no avail. Arthas consumed by hatred placed an ever lasting curse on Erethon making his powers of the light useless and hereby doubing him Abrog.(If using a good vs evil theme continue, if not ends here)
Abrog now fights for the good hoping to gain his revenge on Arthas by any means possible.

Main Attribute: Intelligence ( 19 + 1.7 per level)
Agility (10 + 1.2 per level)
Strength (15 + .9 per level)

Soul Drain(DoT/HoT) - Abrog drains the soul of his enemy, siphoning % health and % mana every second for 4 seconds.

Level 4: .55% for 4 seconds.
Level 5: .75% for 4 seconds.

Everlasting Curse(Passive) - Abrog is still haunted by the curse bestowed upon him giving him great mental stability, increasing nearby units mana regen and health regen.

Level 2: 350 DoT lasting 15 seconds. 2% weaken.
Level 3: 500 DoT lasting 20 seconds. 3% weaken.
Level 4: 600 DoT lasting 25 seconds. 4% weaken.

Description: A phantom sceptre endlessly wandering the land, unable to rest until it destroys the face of humanity. Regardless if friend or foe, Vagnamir will crush their souls into oblivion.

Primary Attribute: Agility

Skills:

Haunted Touch – Vagnamir vanquishes himself into a spirit form, unable to attack or be attacked unless by spells. All units around him, regardless friend or foe, has a reduced attack speed and movement speed. For any damage inflicted upon Vagnamir in this state, will be reflected and dispersed evenly throughout all other units but himself. Vagnamir takes a 160% increase of magic damage. Each soul in Vagnamir’s possession grants him 3% AS, 3% MS and 4 damage. Every time Vagnamir dies he loses 2 souls. If he dies while in the Haunted state, he loses an extra 3. Every 5 creep kills gives him a complete soul.

Level 1 – Inflicts 1% Max HP damage on every soul crush
Level 2 – Inflicts 2% Max HP damage on every soul crush
Level 3 – Inflicts 3% Max HP damage on every soul crush
Level 4 – Inflicts 4% Max HP damage on every soul crush

Comment: This player loses control of the hero and cannot stop until every soul is crushed, or the hero is stunned. If he had 20 souls, he would inflict 80% Max HP to himself :O

Comment: He’s got nice synergy between all his skills. Copied DotA Secptre’s Dispersion a little bit! He’s an emo hero that hurts everyone...scary.
