I have another question, I was going to use the toss ability I was working on in a previous thread for this trap (Part of the trap that is, 1/3rd of it) would that be a no no?

If yes, I suppose I can use my less exciting alternate idea for my trap.

(Yes meaning it's a no no)

(and for JASS we need constants too then right?)

My idear be soul sucker, it drains hp and pulls trapped units in.

No (if you feel like adding them, go ahead), but here's the lowdown:

  • No constants but variables that can be changed = 3/5
  • No constants/variables but comments next to configurable parts = 1/5

EDIT: we should change the title of that section from "Importability" to "Ease of Import/Configuration"

No (if you feel like adding them, go ahead), but here's the lowdown:
  • Comprehensive Constants = 5/5 importability
  • No constants but variables that can be changed = 3/5
  • No constants/variables but comments next to configurable parts = 1/5
  • No constants/variables/comments = 0/5 for importability

I changed it.

I did add the storyline for the spell :p

And dosent the custom script and variables get rid of the Special Effects? I thought it did...

Also i added a comment action with "The Effect" 3 times on the start and end.

I got a neat idea (i like it at least):
The trapper shoots out multiple goblin land mines into an area wich just wait to be activated :D And then i may add some nice triggered effects to the mines (Freeze, burn, etc...).

I would join to this contest as there is enough people, if you allowed me as I blamed you for bad grading (only for my description though..)

About the story, does it have to be story of the spell? Like history?

Please note, Ninja-Sheep, that the theme "traps" pertains to containment, not mines.

Alright then.. I will at least explain how my spell works.
Since I don't know what the heck "containment" is...

Summon spirits which are invisible to enemies (Well unless they have True Sight). Units come inside will be in *secret* state for *secret* and then *secret* for *secret*...

:D:D:D:D Makes no sense. Just don't read from the first *secret*.
So, did this makes sense to the theme ?

;D now i got an idea. I make something like a mine and if the mine activats and earth prison forms around the mine (wich traps the activator).

This will be a trap i think...

I had to look it up from dictionary. It means something to hold back/ prevent/ slow/ disable/ etc - trap what makes you slower or disables.

I think I may change my idea slightly (I'm only posting so someone else doesn't do the same thing heh).
You place a ward, it selects 1 random unit within range, sucks it in dealing damage to its soul, then charms it to your side for a bit. Course that sounds really simple, but all spells do when you get down to its bones.
