Actor or model attached to every unit?

I made a custom unit and made their corresponding custom actor (duplicated off marine unit and actor), and now for some reason literally every unit in the game has the marine model attached to it, even units i never tampered with. I haven't touched any zerg or toss units and they all have a marine model attached and overlapping their normal models....

Any clues?

I think that's exactly what it was. Thank you!

I'm very shy to the Events part of the data editor and really dont pay attention to much of it.

Is there a good Events tutorial/thorough explaination somewhere?

Not really.
There is a tutorial on animations with actor events.

If you have a lot of questions, we could open an explanatory thread on it. (=

Basically, you use them whenever you want to manipulate visually an actor (change size, color, play animation, etc.) when something happens (unit is created, unit walks, unit uses an ability, etc.)

This can also be an unfortunate result of unassigned actors. Depending on the file you based your custom actor on, you may ave a value near the top titled 'unitName'. You CANNOT set this to nothing or else every unit on the map gets automatically assigned the actor.

I've had this happen on more than one occassion.
