Adding cookie to the map

Well since i'm quite new I was wondering how and how not to add effects to units , spells and how do you play funny sounds when certain events occur .

I mean what effects can be used when you strike an enemy on him or when you use a skill on yourself . If there is a guide on the matter please led me to the right dirrection .

Well it depends on what you want to do. Do you want to aff in effects and sounds that are already in Warcraft 3? Or custom stuff? If its custom stuff, you have to first import it in the Import section of the editor. Imports add on file size to the map, so you need to be careful not to make it too big.

Then to play the sounds and effects, you just have to create or play them whenever the event you want happens.

Well I want to start with the normal warcraft 3 stuff . I'm interested in what effects are applied when you invoke them about the effects found in the editor generic stuff like how long some class lasts and things like that .
