Hi guys I need some help with Java (Specifically to develop a game on Android using Eclipse).
I have read up on a method/class/action/thingy called Intent however I understood very little of what I read (I am not very familiar with Java in general, let alone mobile games programming). How do I use Intent? Currently I am using it to transfer control from one .java file to another .java file (I try to follow OOP). For example, I have a mainmenu.java and a singleplay.java and I need to transfer control from one file to another what is the correct (or most appropriate) way to do this?
What I have in mind currently:
Sorry if I am not making any sense but I have no idea how I should explain this.

However with my above method, how do I transfer control back to the SceneManager.java? I cant make the mainmenu.java use the intent method or when the app exits the file the "new Intent()" would get lost (Memory leak?).Make another file called SceneManager.java to handle which file to transfer control to next, this way I only need to declare a m_Current_Intent and a m_Previous_Intent to handle destruction/creation.
