projectile: (melee)

ability 1: smite - a massive melee attack that deals large damage to one unit and stuns it as well as dealing splash damage to nearby units

ability 2: debilitate - like howl of terror only with cripple

ability 3: death charge - charges in a line causing units to flail backward and dealing damage

ultimate: soul eater - devours all buffs from a target unit as well as draining the units hp and a substantial amount of mana to heal the doombringer. finally, the unit is put to sleep from weariness.

Nice! :)

Do you mind if I change the name though? Doom Bringer is already a hero from other AoSes... I like to make my own new ones...

Nice idea with Soul Eater! :D

Give us some screenies of the Heroes you made ^^

Can I request for the Divine Archer(Kikyo, is it?) skill? (I make more than four, so I think you won't use them all ^^)
- Strafe (Change the tooltip. If level 1 it's double strafe, then triple, quadruple.)
Shots multiple times chronologicaly. Each attack will deal more damage.
Level 1 - Shots 2 times, the next attack will have X% more damage.
Level 2 - Shots 3 times, the next attack will have X% more damage.
Level 3 - Shots 4 times, the next attack will have X% more damage.
- Blessing of Divinity
Removes all buffs in an AoE. Friendly units that has it's buff removed will restore hit points, and enemy units that has it's buff removed will be stunned for X seconds.
Level 1 - X AoE, X seconds Cooldown.
Level 2 - X+100 AoE, X-1 seconds Cooldown.
Level 3 - X+200 AoE, X-2 seconds Cooldown.
- Archery
Kikyo is a divine archer blessed by the Gods. She has a chance to shot vital parts of the enemies, making them stun for 2 seconds and deal 25 bonus damage.
Level 1 - 10% chance.
Level 2 - 15% chance.
Level 3 - 20% chance.
- Soul Restore (Active)
Kikyo has the power to send lost souls to Heaven. In addition, every corpses that is around Kikyo will have their souls wandering around renderlessly(Can you make this with trigger?). If the soul is killed, the killing unit takes damage. Soul that is restored by Kikyo will blessed Kikyo with the increment of intelligence and agility.
Level 1 - Increases intelligence and agility by 0.0X.
Level 2 - Increases intelligence and agility by 0.0X+0.0X.
Level 2 - Increases intelligence and agility by 0.0X*3.
- Shinigami
Creates a Shinigami that will help Kikyo in battle.
Level 1 - Has Heal.
Level 2 - Has Heal and Inner Fire.
Level 3 - Has Heal, Inner Fire, and Shinigami Aura(Trueshot Aura originally).
- Holy Arrow
Shots a holy arrow that has Kikyo's blood, If a unit is killed by Holy Arrow, you will have extra bounty on the unit.
Level 1 - 50% extra bounty.
Level 2 - 100% extra bounty.
Level 3 - 150% extra bounty.

Here's a new Hero idea!

Mur'gul Gladiator
- Assist
The Gladiator will assist every allied units. Giving him a chance to teleport to an attacking unit and deal extra damage if he sense an allied unit around him is attacked.
Level 1 - 10% chance.
Level 2 - 15% chance.
Level 3 - 20% chance.
Level 4 - 25% chance.
- Mur'gul's Blood
The Gladiator is a Mur'gul, giving him an armor bonus. For an extra, has a chance to auto-casting 3 seconds Mur'gul Web(Make the Web kinda bluey!) on an attack.
Level 1 - Gives 2 armor, 15% chance to cast Mur'gul Web.
Level 2 - Gives 3 armor, 20% chance to cast Mur'gul Web.
Level 3 - Gives 4 armor, 25% chance to cast Mur'gul Web.
Level 4 - Gives 5 armor, 30% chance to cast Mur'gul Web.
- Gladiate
The Gladiator learns in every battle he's in, increasing his attack base for each continuous attacks.
Level 1 - Increases attack base by 1 for each 35 attacks.
Level 2 - Increases attack base by 1 for each 25 attacks.
Level 3 - Increases attack base by 2 for each 20 attacks.
Level 4 - Increases attack base by 2 for each 15 attacks.
- Hysteria
Jumps high and slams a target enemy, dealing damage and making an earthquake.
Level 1 - Deals 200% attack base, creating an EQ of 100 damage.
Level 2 - Deals 300% attack base, creating an EQ of 200 damage.
Level 3 - Deals 400% attack base, creating an EQ of 300 damage.
Level 4 - Deals 500% attack base, creating an EQ of 400 damage.

New hero idea!
Hero name : Poison Naga
(SnapDragon)
Probably agility-based hero.

Abilities :
1.) Spit Poison : spit a poison that'll deal x initial damage and [distance targeted unit moved/y] damage per second
^
Means if the unit with buff moves longer (trying to run) it will suffer more damage.

2.) Speed Shot : bloodlust; or something like that...
3.) Poison Medium : Target a friendly hero/creeps. Every second, check units around that unit with buff; create a dummy to give a different skill but with same effect. Damage per second = 5.
(to make sure no overlooping, create 1 initial skill and 1 dummy skill)

4.) Spread poison : If this unit is attacked the attacker will get a poison spreading all its body. (slow and damage)

Class: Earthwanderer
Name: w/e (once again)
Range: Melee

Ability 1: Spirit of the Earth Mother
Calls upon the strength of the Earth Mother to restore X damage to all allied units on the map

Ability 2: Rabid Blow
Hits an enemy unit with an immensly strong attack sending it soaring backward, dealing damage and stunning it.

Ability 3: Smash
has a % chance to slam the gorund dealing damage to nearby enemy units(similar to pulverize)

Ability 4 [Ultimate]: Pain of the Earth
causes random volcanic spurts to come from the ground around the earthwanderer causing damage to all neabry uinits

New Version of Ideas! Added moves Keyboard Shortcut!

Mur'gul Soulinker (Intelligence)

Ka'jun - [W] - [Level %d]
Heals an allied unit. Every unit around it will be healed/damaged 1/4 of it.
Level 1 - Heals 100 Hit points.
Level 2 - Heals 160 Hit points.
Level 3 - Heals 220 Hit Points.
Level 4 - Heals 280 Hit Points.

Eska - [Level %d]
Deals damage on a unit. Every unit around it will be healed/damaged 1/4 of it.
Level 1 - Deals 100 Damage.
Level 2 - Deals 160 Damage.
Level 3 - Deals 220 Damage.
Level 4 - Deals 280 Damage.

Ka'nor - [R] - [Level %d]
An aura that will made a Soul Link between every unit around the Soulinker.
Dividing every damage among every Soulinked unit.
Level 1 - Links 10% damage.
Level 2 - Links 20% damage.
Level 3 - Links 30% damage.
Level 4 - Links 40% damage.

Soul Purify - [Level %d]
An ultimate soul linking magic that will purify the soul of a target Hero. Every hero will get each bonus with the differences on each attributes. The Effect differs with the Soulinker himself and will last half of the original. If it used on a Mur'gul tribe Hero, it will have double cooldown.
Lasts 45/60/75/90 seconds.
180/150/120/90 seconds cooldown.
Strength - Receives an extra 500 hit points, 50 damage, and Trample(Gives chaos attack and makes the target's armor to 0).
Agility - Grants 20% movespeed, 60% attack speed and Wind Merge(Gives maximum movespeed for 5 seconds).
Intelligence - Gives 200% Mana regen, Learning (Gives 50% extra maximum mana), and Efficiency (Reduces mana cost by 10%).
Soul Linker
- Gives all ability except Soul Purify Instacast(No Cooldown).
- Gives 1000 mana and 200 Hit Points.
- Ka'nor's effect will be doubled.


I thought about it again. Maybe it's kind of imbalance. So please edit it as much as you want. Just don't change the name of ability and some of it's effect.

Due to need of balancing, I made my own settings for strength/int/agility... It will make sure that all are the same and strong in some way...

Thanks for the idea though...

Reason for double post: People never read Edits! :(

I have completed all typical game triggers and the demo map is nearly ready... All I have to do is do a few heroes and it will be done for the Beta Testing...

Hey, PiCkstix. I hope you use the ideas that people suggested you in that thread that you started. Really, I would like a lot to see heroes that I and the others suggested in a map.

take a look at thread 1 my hero i thought about it and its one of them typical cool heroes :p
anyway if your map is successful you could make a new thread that shares how to make and develop aos abilities :)

o and btw on one of your threads this really overpowering frost reverant is posted i mean it looks nice but its just too good so maybe edit that one ^^

Well, I can very soon post a Beta map with only 7 heroes though...

I have done most of it...

Stats so far:

-Triggers: 65%
-Heroes: 30%
-Items: 8%

So, a beta test will come soon (According to South Africa: 4 days [Friday])

If you can host, dl the map when you see it and send the beta around.

I have done most of the sprees, kills, deaths etc. The only real triggering left is the abilities...

It's coming well!
