Buffs in WE

when i open world editor and take a look in the buffs (in object editor) they are all gone. I have no idea why they are not appearing anymore. Even when i set buffs to defauls nothing appears

If that's true, I would try reinstalling the game.

I don't think so. But you could copy them all to a folder somewhere else to be safe.

Is it always like that, or only in one map? If it is only in one map, there was probably a corruption.

If you are planning to reinstall, make sure all the important maps are backed-up in a different folder.

well i reistalled war3 and now i open world editor and i try to open maps but some maps say critcal error and others say world editor has stopped working

the buffs are removed, maybe because ur MPQs are touched and screwed up!

re-downloaded the maps

same problem

its with all maps not just these few

The next step would be to not simply uninstall and reinstall, but to uninstall, purge your system of all Warcraft III files in existance on your hard drive, run a thorough virus scan/elimination, then reinstall and patch.

Precisely as I said. Uninstall Warcraft, search your computer for any files relating to Warcraft III and delete them, get a free virus program and run it, then reinstall and patch. You might not come up with much by searching, but sometimes not all the files are deleted.
