Can't delete the files from my USB

I got a few files on my USB, and I noticed that there are two files that just won't be deleted.

There's 1 file that is an empty folder. Every time I right click on it and press delete, it just stays there, like it got removed but made a copy of itself.

Another is a music file, when I delete it, it disappears. But when I update it, or when I unplug and plug the USB back in, it re-appears.

I've used a program called Unlocker before, but in both cases no error message are shows.

Any recommendation? Program, advice?

well unlocker helps if it gives you an error when trying to delete.. it might help you, otherwise, copy everything except those 2 things from it and try formatting it, then copy everything back

Format the USB, it will delete EVERYTHING from it (Right-Click --> Format)

If it appears again, then it may be a virus. I had one once that transferred itself from USB's to people's computers and I ended up reformatting my computer. Nasty stuff.

After format, remember to create a folder that named "autorun.inf" on the root of each drive.
This magic stuff can prevent virus from pendrive spreading to your computer.
