Change Language of WC3

Is it possible to change language of wc3? If so, how?

under options -> gameplay -> chat support you can change it a little, don't know how much that helps tho

You can change your Warcraft 3 language only if you met the requirements:

1. A valid CD Key.
2. You have a Battle.net account with your game in it.

So go to Battle.net, and login into your account. Then click on "Manage Game". If you don't have Warcraft 3 in your account, go ahead and add it by entering your valid CD Key.

After that, change Battle.net language. If it's Korean, change the whole website to English, French, Italian, or etc.

Once you have done the above, if or if not, select your game. It should link you to a download link and show your CD Key.

Download the client, install it, and your game is shown in your favorite language.

Are we limited ?
I mean for example i can test all wc3 languages ?
Last time i checked you can download the whole wc3 from blizzard shop, but you must link your cd-key with ONE language only.

I ask it, because if we are not limited i will test some things.

Hm...good point.

You can try either one of these:

1. You might need to change your computer system's locale.
2. Just change the interface, download the client, and it should the interface you have selected in Battle.Net.

I used No. 2; I changed mine from Taiwan to USA, used the CD-Key I bought in Taiwan to download an USA client. Now, I can play WC3 in English.

Maybe it has to do with your system's locale, but I'm just 50% sure.

I'm sure we're not limited. It's just a language change, why think of them needing us to pay for it?

My friend had a German copy of Wc3 and installed it with an English Client (using my CD). No problems, just download the client and you're set ^^

The question is where to get these files ...
AFAIK on the blizzard site you can link your cd key with only one language but maybe i'm wrong, some screenshots would help.

Just login, go to that "Manage Your Game" page, change your language (the red arrow), download the client, install, and you're through.

Hid my CD Key for protection.

Oh well, i didn't found it because i didn't gave my adress ...
I gave a fake one and now i'm able to see it.
But it asks me to choice my language, so i think it will be the same thing, i won't be able to change it

I'm sure we're not limited. It's just a language change, why think of them needing us to pay for it?

Less downloading possible, less illegal sharing on the net possible, more buys, more money for Blizzard.

And they already have WoW, why pay the language change? If that really happens, Blizzard will have to face a lot of moral and freedom of speech issues.

AFAIK once you've choice your war3 language on blizzard site (required to dl the game), you can't change it.

I mean, Blizzard offers only one choice of language.
I haven't tried to change my operating system's default language, but i don't see how it could matter, i mean the files inside the mpq won't be changed by some magic vodoo

Dude, it simply converts the language of the page.
But if you mean Blizzard should offer the possibility to download any war3 language, yes i'm agree, but that's sadly not the case.
