A Chicago man is reportedly suing over a post shared on the Facebook group, Are We Dating the Same Guy, and seeking $75 million in damages by claiming the comments directed at him were ill-intended.
The group was put in place with the intention of “protecting” women in the age of online dating, but has been criticized by Nikko D’Ambrosio for allegedly tainting his image with false accusations that stem from different dating experiences. He is reportedly suing more than 50 people and companies.
In the complaint, filed in District Court in Chicago, Nikko has accused multiple people of ruining his reputation with demeaning remarks and claims he’s been subject to defamation, emotional distress and more.
The comments under the post featuring his picture and details had remarks that described him as “very clingy”, as some women claimed he had “ghosted” them after sleeping with them.
