I want to connect my XboX 360 to my PC. However, I have two problems. 1) My Windows 7 64-bit OS didn't include Windows Media Center and no matter where I look I can't find a download for the fully loaded version of Windows Media Center. 2) The link on the XboX website http://www.xbox.com/en-US/PCSetup/Windows7 gives me a broken link to the Zune website for the software that I'm supposed to download... http://www.zune.net/en-US/meetzune/software/undetected_OS.htm.

I'm really at a loss here.

I don't think you have to do all that if all you want to do is stream movies/etc. from your PC to your xbox, you just need to add it to your library and share it on the network (with no/minimal read security), just right-click the folder you keep your movies in (make one if you don't have one), add it to your video library, then right-click it again and go to properties -> sharing -> share, and add "everyone" with "read" access, then go to the "network and sharing center" -> advanced sharing settings, turn on network discovery, file and printer sharing, public folder sharing, media streaming (find your xbox and specifically allow it), and 40/56 bit security - then turn off password protected sharing and use user accounts instead of homegroups - that is how I did it and it worked

if you wanted to do something more complicated like stream and control channels from a TV tuner on your computer, then I think you would need to do it the way MS says and have a windows media center in order to do that
