Creating special effect

Hi, since this method doesn't work (it works, but when i tap ''h'' key it spawns the effect before the attack of hero). Now, the problem is that it spawns an effect before the hero launches it's blow on opponent.

Trigger:
  • Corher Attack EF
    • Events
      • Unit - A unit Is attacked
    • Conditions
      • (Unit-type of (Attacking unit)) Equal to Corher
    • Actions
      • Special Effect - Create a special effect attached to the chest of (Attacked unit) using Abilities\Weapons\GlaiveMissile\GlaiveMissileTarget.mdl

Well you need a damage detection system because wc3 will register the 0.000000000001 second that a player is attacked and makes the special effect because it follows your trigger.

I was thinking about that. Okay, I'll do it, but I have one more question:

Can I put all of my heroes in one damage detection system?

What do you mean ? :S
A damage detection system will detet any damage done on the map...

I'd suggest you use this (It's GUI friendly):

So your trigger would look something like this:
Trigger:
  • Corher Attack EF
    • Events
      • Game - GDD_Event becomes Equal to 0.00
    • Conditions
      • (Unit-type of GDD_DamageSource) Equal to Corher
    • Actions
      • Special Effect - Create a special effect attached to the chest of GDD_DamagedUnit using Abilities\Weapons\GlaiveMissile\GlaiveMissileTarget.mdl

Well, it seems that this bugs a lot. I use Immolation (for example) and this trigger applies to my spell, which I don't want to.

If using buff placer is okay with you, use it. So give your unit envenomed spears. Then check for the envenomed spears buff in the damage detection trigger. And then remove the buff in the actions.
