CSS: Radar not showing when alive

Awhile ago my friends bro was playing CS:S (Counter Strike : Source ) when he accidentaly hit a button causing the radar to not "appear" when hes dead. My friend and i cant find a solution to this, does any1 know how he get his radar back? ( Note: it shows when hes alive, but not dead )

You can probably enable the radar using the console (~) but I don't know the command, try asking this question in the Steam Forums.

If you're asking about the huge radar that can be seen when you are spectating and dead, you hit the ctrl key and in the bottom left should be like options or something and look for radar in the drop down menu. If you understand what I just said.
