Death animation

Ive been trying to setup a custom race of demons, and I want to use the Dimentional Portals, but unfortunatly that unit has no death animation so after it dies its model is still there. Is there some type of trigger or something that can add a death animation?

you can add a special effect when the unit is killed and then just remove the unit from the game or whatever you want ...

event
unit - a unit dies
condition
unit is [your unit]
action
create special effect at position of [dying unit]
wait 1 second
remove [dying unit] from the game

That will work, though you want to use 0.01 seconds wait, as small as you can so the building doesn't seem to just dissapear. For whatever special effect I suggest using the same effect that all the other demon buildings do when they die, whether it's an undead death anim or a human explosion, use the same animation so it's flows:).

though you want to use 0.01 seconds wait

The 0.01 second wait in triggers can be messy so i suggest at least 0.10 or 0.20 since normal humans dont get the difference
