"Defend" spell

Here is my question: Is there any way that a unit can have defend and magic defense (two "defend" spells) active at the same time?
I know that they are the same base spell, so if a unit has both the unit can only have one in effect at a time...

They are both of the different order string. So I presume they can stack? You could always try. Maybe it works. And it also depends on what you want to do with it.

If it can't stack, then you can simulate the Magic Resistance ability.
Use Immolation, if a unit activates it, give it the Elune's Grace ability.
