You know elevators, how they have different heights? That's part of the model.
I want to basically make custom cliffs, but instead of using different destructables for different walls, I simply set the "height" of the destructable, and it will change the model.
I am not sure if this is feasible, however. Firstly, I wouldn't know how to edit a model to do this (but I think it's possible - kind of like Illidan and Metamorphosis). The next issue, is how many "heights" a destructable can have. The elevator has "stand", "stand second" and "stand third". I would like to have a lot of heights (think 50) - but I do not know if WarCraft III will accept this.
If there is some kind of alternate way to change the model of a destructable without creating / destroying it, I would like to hear.
Also if someone can confirm that when destructables are created and removed, they leak?
EDIT: I forgot to say what I need help with!
I need someone to tell me how I can edit a model to have different animations (ie. "stand fourth" "stand seventeenth" etc.), or to test this themselves.
