Dota Terrain Editor

[Necrolytie]

I'm looking for a Dota map, not the triggers or skills, but the terrain, the elevations, the position of the trees and the fogs of war.

Anyone have a map like this?

There's a DotA template on the site, but it's a bit old.

Well, I hacked the map a while ago, and also, int the projects section, someone is trying to replicate DotA as well. I will send you a link to the version I uploaded, all you need to do is remove the triggers

Thats my hacked map and the revival project :-D hope that helps.

BTW, my version was uploaded ages ago, and the triggers are in GUI. They work ok for creeps systems and such, but alot of it is very messy XD.

One thing tho, plz dont copy the spell content, Ima still working on alot of it XD.

Last time I checked Deprotection was not supported here.

There was a DotA Template released, and it intentionally looked different so that people would NOT copy their map.

As much as I support editing and fair map making, I do suggest you be creative and come up with your own idea.

I mean this constructively, with no offense and good intention.

EDIT: I re-read the initial post. I see that you do not intend on stealing the idea or copying the map in any way other than the terrain. (which is still copying) But if you do intend on making another of the many DotA ripp-off's or 'omg' versions. Then do so, but in the kindness you should atleast try contact the current DotA maker.
