As the title says, when I open a map and minimize the editor for whatever reason (to test the map or to see the desktop) everything is black after I restore the editor window.
I have to close and re-open the map every time this happens, It's impossible to work like this. The same thing happens when I play and minimize Warcraft. Please, is there any way this can be fixed?
My current specs:
HP Pavilion a6010n
Windows Vista Home Premium 32bit SP2
Intel Core2 CPU 4300 1.80GHz
1GB RAM
Intel 82945G Express Chipset Family
(I usually stick with Ubuntu but still keep my Windows for gaming purposes.
When my trusty old WinXP system died after a hardware change, I was forced to rely on the abomination called Vista, and the problems began...)
EDIT: I found a temporary solution: I made a small dummy map and open it alongside the real map I work on. Then when editor goes black, I just change maps from Window menu, which makes it reload the lighting or whatever.
However I'm still looking for a better solution.
