hi....i had Diablo2 Lod copied from a original of a friend and he told me i wont´t be able to play in battlenet...so i just buy one and now i want to uninstall....fully so i won´t have problems with the new cd-key.......thanks
You can use the Windows Control Panel - Add/Remove programs to uninstall it, or pop in the CD, and the autoplay feature should pop up with a D2 window. Under "options", you should be able to select uninstall, IIRC.
If you want to keep any single player info, back up your save folder (probably c:\Program Files\Diablo II\save\) before uninstalling. You should get a message while uninstalling about deleting single player games or not - choose whichever option applies to you. No need to worry about b.net info - it's stored on Blizzard's servers, so you can't delete the info by deleting it off your computer.
I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
I'm on a page about incorrect corrections, and spent the better part of like two hours trying to get someone to understand that -5^2 = -25, not 25, and then that post had comments get reposted because that group is self sustaining, and that person was in turn trying to explain what I just explained to them. And I'm taking that as a victory
