Getting rid of the small upgrade numbers for attack and defense

Hi there,
you know in melee maps you can improve the damage and defense of your units by upgrading them. The upgrade level will be represented with little numbers inside the damage/defense icon.
Now I'd like to know if there's a way to get rid of them because I find them ugly and confusing in a map where there are no upgrades anyway o..o

2.It is possible, but only if you have to original (BTN)

You can do it with a special file only openable in Photoshop

open unit in object editor - scroll down until u find "techtree-upgrades used" - delete everything from there
